* Land Tour Fare are per person in U.S. dollars based on two adults sharing one twin bedded room, double occupancy and does not include any air ticket. A customer who travels alone is required to pay a single room supplement. Children under 12 (2-11 years of age) share room with adult and not asking for extra bed, the rate is 90% of the adult price. If asking for extra bed, the price is the same as adult. Children 12 and older will be charged at the adult fare.

Day 1 USA - Shanghai

Board an international flight bound for China. Cross the International Date Line.

Day 2 Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, the largest commercial and financial center of China. Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the luxury hotel for rest and relaxation.

Day 3 Shanghai - Mt. Huangshan

In the morning, we take high speed train to Huangshan. Upon arrival, we drive to She County, it is noted for its rich history and culture heritage. Its county seat is sometimes described as one of China's "four renowned ancient towns", along with Langzhong (Sichuan Province), Lijiang (Yunnan Province) and Pingyao (Shanxi Province).  We will visit the Memorial Area, you can truly feel the traditional customs in the relics handed down from generation to generation. Xu Guo Gate, a memorial established for Xu Guo, a Grand Secretary during the Ming Dynasty.  Return to Tunxi, Huangshan, our tour of Tunxi will show us the famed Tunxi Ancient Street.

Day 4 Mt. Huangshan - Hongcun - Huangshan

Mt. Huangshan, with a history of thousands of years, is the collective name of a famous range of granite mountains in southern Anhui Province, and known for its four wonders of oddly-shaped pine trees, spectacular rocks, "sea of clouds" and hot springs. The reward for all that arrive at the top is a truly unforgettable experience walking into a living Chinese ink-washed landscape painting. Drive to Yixian County. Visit the old town of Hongcun, the film site of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Hongcun is an ancient traditional village with well preserved paved streets, architecture, decorations and houses with comprehensive water systems. We ascend by cable car to the top of the mountain for a sightseeing tour of the area that includes Bright Peak, Flying Rock and Cloud-dispelling Pavilion. The Cloud-dispelling Pavilion is the best place for admiring the unique rocks, hence a nick name “Unique Rock Exhibition Hall”.

Day 5 Mt. Huangshan

Get up early in the morning to watch sunrise. Here, it is one of the most beautiful sunrises on earth to emerge with nature. Then we will tour the Beihai scenic area that includes Writing Brush Peak, Lion Peak, Refreshing Terrace, and Begin-to-Believe Peak. Also, enjoy the poetic and llusive atmosphere of the Black Tiger pine, Interlocking pine, and Chessboard pine. Here, it feels like heaven on earth. Afterward, we will take the cable car down and visit the China Huizhou Culture Museum. Enjoy a local flavor dinner.

Day 6 Mt. Huangshan - Jingdezhen - Nanchang

After breakfast, we take high speed train to Jingdezhen. Jingdezhen is known as the "Porcelain Capital" and is located in northeastern Jiangxi. For centuries, the city has been considered to be China most important center for porcelain production. The imperial porcelain was so exquisite that it was described as being "as white as jade, as bright as a mirror, as thin as paper, with a sound as clear as a bell". Visit the museum of porcelain, there you can know about how to make a work of porcelain. Over night at Nanchang.

Day 7 Nanchang - Jiujiang

Nanchang is the capital city of Jiangxi Province. Visit the Pavilion of Prince Teng (Tengwangge), one of the most famous pavilion towers of China, which is located at Nanchang City. Then proceed to Jiujiang. Jiujiang was an ancient city of rice and tea and was once an important place of Yangtze River. Along the way enjoy the fantastic scenery of Mt. Shizhongshan. In Jiujiang, we will visit Gantang Lake, Zhenjiang Pavilion and we will have a tour of Xunyanglou Pagoda.

Day 8 Jiujiang - Wuhan

 After breakfast, we we take high speed train to Wuahn.  Upon arrival, take a brief tour of this important industrial city in central China including a visit to provincial Museum, listen to the music played by chime. Tour Yellow Crane Tower, which has an interesting story behind its inception and the provincial Museum. Tonight, enjoy a local fish flavor dinner.

Day 9 Wuhan - Jingzhou - Yichang - Three Gorges Cruise

After breakfast, we drive to Yichang. On the way to Yichang, we will visit Jingzhou old town. Afterwards, we are transferred to the docks at Maoping to board our five-star Victoria Cruise vessel and begin our exciting Yangtze River adventure. Our hearts fill with excitement and anticipation as the ship departs in the night to sail up this mighty and mysterious river.

Day 10 Three Gorges Cruise

Victoria Cruises is the only American cruise line currently sailing China's Yangtze River. The Long River has been shaping China's geography and culture for thousands of years. It evokes a sense of timelessness. Enjoy the river's primordial wonders in the civilized comforts and amenities on board. Today we visit the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric dam under construction. Dubbed the "Great Wall across the River", the dam's mandates are to control floods, improve navigation, and produce huge amounts of electricity. We sailing in the afternoon and the Xiling Gorge looms ahead. Xiling is the longest of the Three Gorges and its treacherous frothing currents demand skillful piloting.

Day 11 Three Gorges Cruise

The next Gorge we pass through is the Wu Gorge. Here, the long River turns and twists at very sharp angles while towering peaks, called the "12 Holy Peaks", look down. Try to catch a glimpse of the Goddess Peak for good luck. We reach Wushan and drop anchor. We arrive at Wushan to board small motorized sampans which afford us access to the Shennong Stream via the Daning River. We return to our ship in the afternoon and sail to the last remaining Gorge.

Day 12 Three Gorges Cruise

Today sail through the last remaining Gorge, the Qutang Gorge. Though the shortest of the Three Gorges, Qutang's soaring cliffs are the highest and its waters the most powerful. In the past, its churning whirlpools and swells and flying debris were feared as representations of the "river dragon". Today's travelers in modern ships safely and routinely ply these perilous rapids.Depending on the river conditions, our shore excursion takes us to either Fengdu or Shibaozhai (shore excursions are at your own expense). The “Ghost City” Fengdu is known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill. Shibaozhai’s attraction lays with its 12-story tall wooden pagoda, amazingly built 400 years ago without use of a single nail. After returning safely to our ship we again set sail.

Day 13 Three Gorges Cruise - Chongqing - Dazu - Chongqing

This morning, our Princess Cruises ship's arrival in Chongqing marks the end of the memorable Three Gorges cruise. Chongqing, located in the Sichuan province, it is China’s largest municipality with a population of well over 30 million. Upon arrival, we drive to Dazu. We tour the well-known Dazu stone carving. Drive back to Chongqing, we have a city tour. View the city at night after enjoy local spicy Sichuan cuisine.

Day 14 Chongqing - USA

After breakfast, you are transferred to airport for your return flight back to your home. You will be in the United States the same day. End of tour.
